Essex Pension Fund is joining with pension schemes and organisations across the UK to encourage everyone to spend some time thinking about your pensions and whether your retirement plans are on track.

We will be holding a Virtual Pension Surgery between 1pm - 4pm on Thursday 15 September 2022.  You can book a 121 video appointment with a member of the pensions team to discuss your pension or to ask us questions about the LGPS.

Maybe you're thinking about retiring the next few months and just want to better understand the process for claiming your pension, or perhaps you have other pensions elsewhere and have questions about transferring them into the LGPS, or maybe you've previously opted out and are thinking about joining the LGPS and just want to know more about how the scheme works; whatever your query we are on hand to help.

Just click the main topic that you want to discuss, and all the available appointments will be displayed so you can select the time that works best for you.  Once you've booked your appointment you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the meeting which will be held on Microsoft Teams - but don't worry, you don't need to download any software as you can join your session through your web browser!
