Essex Pension Fund Becomes a Signatory of the Financial Reporting Council UK Stewardship Code

Essex Pension Fund is dedicated to being a responsible investor and has committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050.

As part of this commitment the Fund agreed within its 2021/22 Business Plan and RI Project Plan to aspire to become a Financial Reporting Council (FRC) UK Stewardship Code signatory.  To this end the Fund submitted its inaugural Submission in April 2022.

“I am pleased to report that on 7 September 2022 the Financial Reporting Council published its updated list of signatories to the UK Stewardship Code following its spring 2022 assessment. The Essex Pension Fund was one of only nine new UK pension funds to be successful”.
